German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the PGA Tour opener at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are called at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, represents a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course, though seemingly more scorable, also offers no gifts. This unique combination annually attracts a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are all teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition right away on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is Brooks Koepka’s comeback on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to draw early attention from fans and the tournament alike. Koepka’s return adds additional star power to an already strong field and increases the excitement at the Farmers Insurance Open. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 5:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM (all times in German time).
Tee times are provided in German local time.
