German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the PGA Tour opener in Torrey Pines. Find out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may seem more scorable but gives no gifts either. This combination each year attracts a top-class field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are all teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have a chance to start aggressively on the North Course, while Schmid is tested directly against strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already high-quality field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 17:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 (all times in German time).
Tee times are provided in German time.
