As the tee times for the Farmers Insurance Open are announced, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, known for its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scoreable but offers no easy shots. This blend attracts a top-class field every year, creating early competitive excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will be teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is the comeback of multiple major winner Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. He will tee off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to attract early attention from fans and the tournament alike.
