German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the PGA Tour kickoff at Torrey Pines. Here are the tee times.
As the first tee times are called at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, known for its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is regarded as a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may seem more scorable but offers no favors. This mix creates a high-quality field and early sporting excitement each year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Return to the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees up alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 18:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 (German time).
