German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement at the start of the PGA Tour at Torrey Pines. Find out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced for the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The demanding South Course with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course may seem more scorable but also gives no gifts. This combination ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement every year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity to start aggressively on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a grouping likely to draw early tournament and fan focus. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already high-caliber field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament is broadcast live on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 18:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 (all times in German time).
