German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the PGA Tour opener in Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the Farmers Insurance Open tee times are announced, attention turns once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, renowned for its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, presents a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may appear more scorable, yet offers no easy gifts. This combination annually ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major focus is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to capture early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds extra star power to an already strong field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 6:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 pm (German time).
