The challenging South Course, with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is known as a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course seems more scorable but offers no giveaways either. This combination ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement every year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds even more star power to the already high-caliber field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting.
