The challenging South Course, known for its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, serves as a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may seem scorable but gives no freebies either. This combination each year creates a high-caliber field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major champion tees off with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group that is bound to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds extra star power to an already stellar field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 6 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 5 PM local German time.
