The challenging South Course, known for its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notoriously tough greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course may seem more scorable but also offers no gifts. This combination ensures each year a high-quality field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are all teeing off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major talking point is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to the already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 18:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 (German time).
