German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback create excitement at the PGA Tour opener in Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced for the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4 holes, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scorable but offers no gifts either. This combination ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement each year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will compete. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major story is Brooks Koepka’s comeback on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group that will surely attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already strong field and makes the Farmers Insurance Open even more thrilling. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday at 18:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 17:00 (German time).
Tee times are listed in German time.
