Mizuno Pro Modern Series: Precision Meets Speed in New Irons

Mizuno launches the Pro Modern Series with M-13 and M-15 irons for players seeking speed, control, and feel in classic shapes.

With the introduction of the Pro Modern Series, Mizuno opens a new chapter in its Pro line. The M-13 and M-15 models target ambitious golfers who expect modern performance features without sacrificing compact head shapes, solid feel, and precise feedback at impact. Both models cater to different player types and add a contemporary, performance-driven option to Mizuno’s existing Pro offerings.

Mizuno Pro M-13: Tour-Inspired Design with Modern Power

The Pro M-13 builds on the tour-proven concept of its predecessor, the Pro 243, combining classic proportions with an advanced construction. It is aimed at players seeking a fast, stable ball flight while achieving maximum precision with scoring irons.

The long irons feature a three-piece forged structure. The combination of Chromoly and stainless steel allows for an ultra-thin face, delivering significantly higher ball speeds than the previous model. Despite increased power, the feedback remains clear and direct. The mid irons offer extra flexibility for consistent distances, while the short irons and wedges use a one-piece forging to prioritize precision and feel.

Performance is further enhanced by tuned vibration dampening and a tour-inspired sole design for clean turf interaction.

Pro M-15: More Height and Stability

The M-15, successor to the Pro 245, is designed for players who prefer higher ball launch and additional forgiveness without sacrificing a compact look. The set provides harmonious transitions in shape, feel, and performance from long irons through wedges.

Central to its design is the advanced CORTECH face technology in irons 4 through 8, combined with a hollow body construction that delivers high ball speeds and consistent results. Strategically placed tungsten weights boost launch and stability, promoting a straight, reliable ball flight. The short irons focus more on control, supported by a partially hollow forged construction.

An optimized sole geometry eases turf contact, while targeted damping elements produce a solid impact sensation.
