Mizuno Pro Modern Series: Precision Meets Speed in New Irons

Mizuno launches the Pro M-13 and M-15 irons, blending speed, control, and feel in classic shapes for modern players.

With the introduction of the Pro Modern Series, Mizuno opens a new chapter in its Pro line. The M-13 and M-15 models target ambitious golfers seeking modern performance traits while retaining compact head shapes, rich feel, and precise feedback at impact. Each model caters to different player types, complementing Mizuno’s existing Pro range with a contemporary, performance-driven option.

Mizuno Pro M-13: Tour-Shaped Power and Precision

The Pro M-13, successor to the Pro 243, builds on a tour-proven design that pairs classic proportions with advanced construction. It is aimed at players wanting a fast, stable ball flight with maximum precision in scoring irons.

The long irons feature a three-piece forged structure combining Chromoly and stainless steel for an ultra-thin face that delivers higher ball speeds than its predecessor. Despite increased dynamics, feedback remains clear and direct. Mid irons offer added flexibility for consistent distance, while short irons and wedges are forged in a single piece to prioritize precision and feel.

Performance is further enhanced by tuned vibration dampening and a tour-inspired sole designed for clean turf interaction.

Pro M-15: Higher Launch and Forgiveness

The M-15, successor to the Pro 245, is designed for players who prefer higher ball launch and added forgiveness without sacrificing a compact look. This set offers seamless transitions in shape, feel, and performance from long irons to wedges.

Central to the model is the advanced CORTECH face technology in irons 4 through 8, combined with a hollow-body construction that promotes high ball speeds and consistent results. Strategically placed tungsten weights increase launch and stability, encouraging a straight and reliable ball flight. Control is emphasized in the short irons with a partially hollow forged design.

Optimized sole geometry improves turf contact, while targeted dampening elements provide a solid impact feel.
