Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods, including a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids that the manufacturer claims redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The highlight of the new woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemistry and materials company Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the elasticity of the face at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than conventional titanium or composite constructions, generating higher ball speeds across a larger hitting area.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) is increased by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two driver models: the regular JPX ONE with a slightly larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT featuring a compact, tour-proven shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both offer adjustable weight systems and a quick-switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
Also unveiled are the new JPX ONE fairway woods featuring a redesigned CORTECH chamber with varied internal spacing between sole and chamber walls. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face by flexing towards the toe and heel without sacrificing center face performance.
Each clubhead has a composite crown that saves weight high up to lower the center of gravity, resulting in higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures maximum efficiency in energy transfer at impact, while a newly designed sole improves turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available lofts range from 15° to 24°, offering an ideal blend of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with signature Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The JPX ONE hybrids adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure increases face stability, allowing engineers to position weight deeper and further back in the clubhead to promote optimal launch and maximum spin control.
Like the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Offered in lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a smooth transition from long irons to fairway woods.
