Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series featuring drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and the typical Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver along with various fairway woods and hybrids that, according to the manufacturer, redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The centerpiece of these innovative woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials manufacturer Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the elasticity of the clubface at impact. This material is designed to store and release more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, producing higher ball speeds over a larger sweet spot.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) expands by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two driver models: the standard JPX ONE driver with a slightly larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a more compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models feature adjustable weighting systems and a quick-switch hosel to precisely tailor launch and spin to individual needs.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The series also includes new fairway woods featuring a specially designed CORTECH chamber that varies the internal distance between the sole and chamber wall. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire clubface by flexing toward the toe and heel without compromising the center’s efficiency.
Each clubhead has a surrounding composite crown that saves crucial grams high up, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. The MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures maximum energy efficiency at impact, while the newly designed sole optimizes turf interaction, enabling cleaner strikes and consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available with lofts from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods offer the ideal mix of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance with the characteristic Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The JPX ONE hybrids carry over the fairway woods’ design philosophy but in a more compact, iron-like form. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability and allows Mizuno engineers to reposition mass deeper and further back in the clubhead, supporting optimal launch and maximum spin control.
Like the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Offered in lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
