Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new club family in the woods category. The Mizuno JPX ONE series consists of a new driver along with various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel according to the manufacturer.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The centerpiece of the innovative woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and material manufacturer Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, generating higher ball speeds over a significantly larger hitting area.
Combined with the newly engineered CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the so-called CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) increases by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two driver models in total.
The standard JPX ONE driver features a slightly larger head for greater stability and a straighter ball flight, while the JPX ONE SELECT offers a more compact, tour-tested shape with a neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weighting systems and a Quick-Switch hosel to precisely tailor launch and spin to individual needs.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE series also introduces advanced fairway woods featuring a redesigned CORTECH chamber with variable internal spacing between sole and chamber walls. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face by allowing flex toward the toe and heel without sacrificing center-face performance.
Each head includes a surrounding composite crown that saves critical grams in the upper area, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures maximum energy efficiency at impact, while the all-new sole design optimizes turf interaction for cleaner strikes and more consistent ball speeds from diverse lies. With lofts ranging from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods offer an ideal mix of speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectories for golfers seeking effortless distance combined with distinctive Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids in the JPX ONE series adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy but in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure enhances face stability and allows Mizuno engineers to position mass deeper and further back in the head to optimize launch
