Mizuno JPX ONE: New Drivers and Fairway Woods with High-Tech Faces for More Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for increased speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno unveils its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel according to the manufacturer.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

At the center of the new clubs is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno has created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the elasticity of the face at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite faces, enabling higher ball speeds across a much larger sweet spot.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) is expanded by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno has introduced two driver models: the regular JPX ONE driver with a larger head for stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT featuring a compact, tour-proven shape with a neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models have adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE series also includes new fairway woods equipped with a redesigned CORTECH chamber, varying the internal spacing between sole and chamber walls. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face flexing towards the toe and heel without sacrificing center performance.

Each clubhead features a composite crown that saves critical weight at the top to lower the center of gravity, resulting in higher launch and reduced spin. The MAS1C steel face with variable wall thickness provides peak efficiency at impact, while the newly designed sole optimizes ground interaction for cleaner strikes and consistent ball speeds from varied lies. With lofts ranging from 15° to 24°, JPX ONE fairway woods offer the ideal balance of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s signature feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids in the JPX ONE lineup adopt the design philosophy of the fairway woods but in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure increases face stability, allowing engineers to position mass deeper and further back in the head to optimize launch and maximize spin control.

Similar to the fairway woods, the hybrids feature MAS1C faces combined with CORTECH chambers and the advanced sole design. Available with lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
