Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and signature feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of clubs in the woods category. The Mizuno JPX ONE series consists of a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids, which the manufacturer claims redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
The centerpiece of the new woods is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and material manufacturer Toray, Mizuno developed a novel microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than conventional titanium or composite constructions, resulting in higher ball speeds over a much larger hitting area.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (High-Speed Rebound Zone) is increased by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno has introduced two driver models: the standard JPX ONE Driver with a slightly larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a more compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models feature adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch Hosel to fine-tune launch and spin for individual needs.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE series also introduces new fairway woods featuring a redesigned CORTECH chamber, where the internal distance between the sole and chamber wall is varied. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face by flexing towards the toe and heel without sacrificing the center’s effectiveness.
Each clubhead incorporates a composite crown that saves weight at the top, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. The MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures maximum energy efficiency at impact, while the completely redesigned sole optimizes turf interaction. Available with lofts from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods offer an ideal blend of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s signature feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids carry over the fairway woods’ design philosophy into a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability and allows engineers to position saved mass lower and further back in the clubhead to promote optimal launch and maximum spin control.
Like the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Offered with lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
