Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Returns to the PGA Tour

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh eager for a comeback, Charley Hull to launch YouTube soon – The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the LIV Golf League’s 2026 season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major winner remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more time for family. LIV CEO Scott McNeil confirmed a friendly agreement. Koepka, known as a fierce competitor who thrives in top-level contests, lacked full motivation in LIV. He initially joined LIV in 2022 mainly for financial security after injury concerns threatened his career. Questions remain whether he had to buy out his contract or return some guaranteed earnings. Koepka still owns his LIV team Smash GC, which named Talor Gooch as captain.

Speculation continues about which tours Koepka will play on next. He is immediately eligible for the DP World Tour, possibly with a penalty, or could return to the PGA Tour after serving a one-year suspension following his last LIV appearance. Lifetime bans from former Commissioner Jay Monahan have been significantly softened. According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership.
