Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Immediately Back on PGA Tour

First start already at the Farmers; Vijay Singh is back too, Charley Hull soon on YouTube. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season, starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time. LIV CEO Scott McNeil confirmed this amicable agreement. Koepka, known as a competitor who thrives on high-level contests, was less motivated playing LIV. He initially joined LIV in 2022 due to injury concerns and to secure a financial retirement safety net. Thus, skipping the final contracted season is unsurprising, though questions remain about possible buyouts or repayments. Koepka also still owns LIV team Smash GC, which named Talor Gooch captain.

Speculation rises on where Koepka will next compete — DP World Tour (immediately eligible, possibly with penalties) or PGA Tour (where he faces a one-year suspension after his last LIV event, following reduced life bans). Reports from ESPN’s Mark Schlabach indicate Koepka formally applied last Friday to reinstate his PGA Tour membership, seeking re-entry to the player pool.
