Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Back on the PGA Tour

First start at the Farmers, Vijay Singh returns, Charley Hull soon on YouTube. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh. The five-time major winner intends to stay connected to the competing circuit but needs more time for family, according to a friendly agreement stated by LIV CEO Scott McNeil. However, Koepka is a competitor who thrives on top-level competition, which he found limited at LIV. He initially joined LIV in 2022 due to injury concerns and to secure a solid retirement fund. Questions remain about contract terms and his ownership in the LIV team Smash GC.

Speculation is high about which tours Koepka will play on next. He could immediately play on the DP World Tour, possibly with a penalty, or return to the PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension from his last LIV participation. That suspension was eased from a lifetime ban previously imposed by former commissioner Jay Monahan. Koepka has formally applied to reactivate his PGA Tour membership, signaling his intent to return to the players’ circle.
