Koepka Renewed Membership, No Suspension: Back on PGA Tour Now

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh back for more, Charley Hull launching on YouTube soon. The Back Nine.

Expected: Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major winner stays connected to the competing circuit but needs more time for family. This was agreed upon amicably, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil. Koepka is a competitor who thrives on high-level competition and motivation, something LIV didn’t fully provide. He initially joined LIV in 2022 due to injury concerns potentially ending his career and to secure a retirement fund. His skipping the last contract year is thus not surprising, although questions remain about potential buyouts or paybacks. He remains owner of LIV team Smash GC, with Talor Gooch now captain.

Speculation abounds on which tours Koepka will next appear: DP World Tour, where he’d have immediate eligibility possibly with a penalty, or PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension after his last LIV appearance, softened from an earlier lifetime ban. This question seems partly answered. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reported Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the players’ circle.
