Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Back on PGA Tour Immediately

First start already at the Farmers Insurance Open, Vijay Singh is making a comeback, and Charley Hull is launching a YouTube channel. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn for the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh. The five-time major winner will remain affiliated with the rival circuit but needs more time for family, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil’s official statement. However, questions remain about the terms. Koepka, known for thriving in top-level competition, was less motivated in LIV and initially joined mainly due to injuries threatening his career and to secure retirement funds. Speculation continues about where Koepka will play next—DP World Tour, likely with a penalty, or PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension after his last LIV appearance. Recent reports by ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reveal Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the players’ ranks.
