Gotterup’s rapid ascent to Masters contention represents one of professional golf’s remarkable stories. The accomplished golfer claimed victories at the WM Phoenix Open, Sony Open, and Scottish Open, among others, establishing himself as one of the tour’s most consistent performers. Speaking about his qualification for Augusta, Gotterup admitted candidly that a year ago, he could scarcely have imagined reaching this milestone.

Beyond Gotterup, the 2026 inaugural class features several other notable debutants poised to make immediate impacts. Jacob Bridgeman has already secured a PGA Tour victory at Riviera and has posted impressive consistency throughout the season, with no finish worse than T-18 in eight starts.
