Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood will continue as co-captains of Majesticks GC in the LIV Golf League through the 2026 season.
The two British golf stars have renewed their contracts with the LIV Golf League and will remain the faces of Majesticks GC for the upcoming 2026 season. Their continued leadership brings stability to the team amid a transfer window filled with changes and surprises across the league.
Five Seasons with LIV Golf
With this extension, Poulter and Westwood are set to enter their fifth season with LIV Golf. While other teams undergo restructuring and lineup changes, Majesticks GC retains two of the most recognizable names in European golf. Their experience and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the team’s identity since its inception.
Over 60 Years of Combined Experience
Together, Poulter and Westwood bring more than six decades of professional golf experience. Westwood, a former World No. 1, is known for his consistency over decades, while Poulter is celebrated for his passion, resilience, and clutch performances—especially in team formats. “I’ve been part of Majesticks GC since day one and I’m thrilled to continue this journey as a player and co-captain,” said Poulter. Westwood added, “It’s great to keep building this experience with Majesticks GC.”
Beyond their playing duties, both serve as mentors to younger players and help steer the strategic direction of the team.
Laurie Canter Joins Majesticks GC
Adding to the team’s British core, Laurie Canter joins Majesticks GC. The Englishman made headlines recently by giving up his PGA Tour card to return to LIV Golf and join the Majesticks. His addition brings fresh energy and talent to the squad.
