Field Expands to 57 Players in 2026

The LIV Golf League will feature an enlarged field in 2026. The league will include 57 players, up from its previously smaller roster. The competition will consist of 13 teams with four players each. Additionally, 5 wildcards will join independently of the teams but will have guaranteed starting spots in all 13 regular season events.

New Qualification Opportunities

Through LIV Golf Promotions, three direct tour cards for the 2026 season will be awarded, increased from the previous two cards offered via this format.

LIV Golf Promotions 2026: A Stage for Rising Stars

The third edition of LIV Golf Promotions will take place from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This key qualifying event is played as a 72-hole stroke play tournament featuring a unique stage system with several score resets, creating a dynamic competition.

On the first day, the top 20 players and ties advance to day two, after which scores are reset. Day two sees automatic qualifiers join the field, with again the top 20 and ties moving on. Before day three, scores reset once more. A 36-hole score across days three and four then determines final placement. The top three finishers earn spots in the LIV Golf League, while the top ten secure full playing rights for the 2026 International Series.
