Field Expands to 57 Players in 2026

The LIV Golf League will launch the 2026 season with an expanded roster of 57 players, up from a smaller field in previous years. Thirteen teams will compete, each comprising four players. The field is further supplemented by 5 wildcard players who compete independently of teams but are guaranteed entry into all 13 regular season events.

New Qualification Opportunities

In 2026, LIV Golf Promotions will award three direct starting places for the season, an increase from the previous two available spots through this qualification format.

LIV Golf Promotions 2026: A Stage for Rising Stars

The third edition of LIV Golf Promotions will take place from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This key qualifying event is played over 72 holes stroke play using a distinctive tiered scoring system with multiple score resets to keep competition dynamic.

On day one, the top 20 players and ties advance to day two, after which scores are reset. The field for day two includes automatically qualified players, with the top 20 and ties again progressing. Before day three, scores reset once more, and a 36-hole total evaluation across days three and four determines final standings. The top three earn spots in the LIV Golf League, while the top ten receive full entry into the 2026 International Series.
