Field Expands to 57 Players in 2026

The LIV Golf League will launch its 2026 season with an expanded field of 57 players, up from a smaller roster previously. The league features 13 teams, each with four players. The field is supplemented by 5 wildcard players who compete independently of the teams but are guaranteed spots in all 13 regular season events.

New Qualification Opportunities

Through LIV Golf Promotions, three direct tour cards for the 2026 season will be awarded, an increase from the previous two cards available via this qualifying format.

LIV Golf Promotions 2026: A Platform for Rising Stars

The third edition of LIV Golf Promotions will be held from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This central qualifying event is a 72-hole stroke play tournament utilizing a unique tiered system with multiple score resets to enhance competition dynamics.

On day one, the top 20 players and ties advance to day two, followed by a score reset. The field is then supplemented by automatically qualified players before the top 20 and ties move on to the next round.

Another score reset precedes day three, after which a 36-hole scoring over days three and four determines final placements. The top three secure spots in the LIV Golf League, while the top ten earn full exemptions for the 2026 International Series.
