The format includes 13 teams, each with four players. Additionally, five wildcard players will compete independently from teams but are guaranteed starts in all 13 regular season events.

In 2026, LIV Golf Promotions will award three direct tour cards for the season, up from the previous two available through this qualification format.
LIV Golf Promotions 2026: Platform for Emerging Talent
The third edition of LIV Golf Promotions takes place from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This key qualification event is a 72-hole stroke play tournament featuring a unique tiered scoring system with multiple score resets to keep the competition dynamic.
On the first day, the top 20 players and ties advance to day two, followed by a score reset. The day two field is supplemented by automatically qualified players, with the top 20 and ties moving on again after another reset before day three. The final placements are decided by a cumulative 36-hole score over days three and four, with the top three earning spots on the LIV Golf League and the top ten securing full status for the 2026 International Series.
