Field Expands to 57 Players in 2026

The LIV Golf League will launch the 2026 season with an expanded field. Previously smaller, the league will now feature 57 players. Thirteen teams will compete, each with four players. The field is complemented by 5 wildcard players who compete independently from teams but have guaranteed spots in all 13 regular season events.

New Qualification Opportunities

In 2026, LIV Golf Promotions will award three direct tour cards for the season, up from two previously available through this qualification format.

LIV Golf Promotions 2026: Platform for Rising Talent

The third edition of LIV Golf Promotions will take place from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This tournament serves as a central qualifier and is played as a 72-hole stroke play event. It uses a unique tiered scoring system with multiple score resets, creating a dynamic competition.

On day one, the top 20 players and ties advance to day two, after which scores are reset. The field is supplemented by automatically qualified players for day two, with again the top 20 and ties progressing to the next round.

Before day three, scores are reset once more. Then, a 36-hole scoring over days three and four determines final placements. The top three earn a spot on the LIV Golf League, while the top ten secure full status for the 2026 International Series.
