James Morrison clinches victory at the Rolex Grand Final in Mallorca. Steinlechner earns DPWT promotion, Albers and Nemecz fall short.
The HotelPlanner Tour concluded with the Rolex Grand Final at Club de Golf Alcanada in Port d’Alcúdia, Mallorca, where the top 20 players on the Road to Mallorca secured their DP World Tour cards for next season. Austrian Lukas Nemecz and Germany’s Anton Albers narrowly missed out, while 25-year-old Austrian Maximilian Steinlechner finished inside the top 20 and earned promotion to Europe’s premier tour.
England’s James Morrison underlined his dominance on the final day, finishing with a 2-under-par round. His five birdies and three eagles helped him overcome a few Sunday stumbles to top the leaderboard. With the win, Morrison surged 30 spots in the Road to Mallorca rankings and secured his DP World Tour card. Close behind was Italy’s Stefano Mazzoli, who carded a final-round 69 to finish at 12-under-par in solo second, confirming his promotion as well.

Steinlechner earns DP World Tour card despite final-round struggles
Maximilian Steinlechner had a rollercoaster week in Mallorca. After opening with a strong 67, he posted an even-par round on Friday. Saturday proved costly with a disastrous 77 that included an eight-over-par score on hole 8. The same hole troubled him again on Sunday, where a double bogey marred an otherwise clean front nine. Despite three birdies on the back nine, two bogeys on holes 14 and 18 left him with a 73. He finished T31 on the leaderboard but held onto third place in the season rankings, securing his spot on the DP World Tour.
Albers and Nemecz narrowly miss out
Anton Albers finished T27 after a final-round 70, but it wasn’t enough to move him from 25th in the Road to Mallorca standings. Lukas Nemecz shot even par on Sunday to finish T34 at 3-under overall, ending the season
