The film set a Netflix record on its opening weekend with nearly 47 million streamed minutes and was watched for more than 6.2 billion minutes throughout the year, consistently appearing in Netflix’s weekly Top 10. It held the top spot on the global Top 10 list for two weeks and was featured in the worldwide Top 10 for a total of five weeks.

Among 39 films released by Netflix in 2025, Happy Gilmore 2 ranked second only behind “KPop Demon Hunters,” which achieved over 17 billion minutes watched.
