Four tours provide seven days of golf action from the Bahamas to the PGA Tour and Dubai, featuring several German players. The golf week preview:
Korn Ferry Tour: Long Monday in the Bahamas
The international golf week kicks off early with the Korn Ferry Tour in the Bahamas. The first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classics is underway at the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay. Due to the onset of darkness, the first round could not be completed as scheduled, resulting in a particularly long golf day on Monday. At the clubhouse, a round of -5 currently leads, while Ben Taylor still has three holes to play and is leading alone at -6 after 15 holes.
The tournament runs until Wednesday and is broadcast daily at 8:00 pm on MagentaTV.
DP World Tour: Star-Studded Field and Strong German-Speaking Presence in Dubai
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai at the Emirates Golf Club. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic starts on Thursday with seven German-speaking players. Alongside Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul are competing in the $9 million prize field. International star power is guaranteed with Rory McIlroy, a four-time winner, among the favorites. Also participating are Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Reed, and Francesco Molinari. Nacho Elvira will play with added confidence after his victory last week in Dubai.
The Dubai Desert Classic is broadcast on MagentaTV from 8:30 am on Thursday and Friday and from 8:00 am over the weekend.
PGA Tour: Scheffler Begins 2026 Golf Season
The PGA Tour also starts on Thursday. At the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, Scottie Scheffler begins his 2026 golf year. After an outstanding 2025, the world number one aims to continue his success. Winning the American Express Championship still eludes him.
Defending champion Sepp Straka from Austria returns, while Ryan Gerard and Patrick Rodgers aim to continue their strong form from the Dubai Invitational. German players Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid will also compete.
MagentaTV broadcasts daily from 5:30 pm Thursday to Saturday.
PGA Tour Champions: Legends Tee Off in Hawaii
The PGA Tour Champions open their season and close the golf week with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. German greats Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka join international stars like Miguel Ángel Jiménez. They face competition from Vijay Singh, who warmed up in Hawaii after making the cut on the PGA Tour last week.
MagentaTV airs live from Hawaii starting Friday at 1:00 am.
