Golf Week Preview: Four Tournaments Featuring Several German Players

Four tours offer seven days of golf action from the Bahamas and the PGA Tour to Dubai with several German contenders. The golf week preview:

Korn Ferry Tour: Long Monday in the Bahamas

The international golf week kicks off early on the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour. At the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay, the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classics is already underway. Due to darkness, the first round could not be completed on time, leading to an unusually long golf day on Monday. The clubhouse leaderboard currently shows a leading round of -5, while Ben Taylor is yet to finish strong; after 15 holes, he leads alone at -6.

The tournament runs until Wednesday and will be broadcast daily from 20:00 on MagentaTV.

DP World Tour: Star-Studded Field and Strong German-Speaking Presence in Dubai

The DP World Tour remains in Dubai at the Emirates Golf Club. Seven German-speaking players will tee off from Thursday in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic with a $9 million purse. Besides Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem, the field includes Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger and Jeremy Paul. International star power is guaranteed with favorites like Rory McIlroy, a four-time winner of this tournament, as well as Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Reed and Francesco Molinari. Recent winner
