The first official tournaments must wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway with players aiming to qualify. Golf on TV is live.
The LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026 features players competing for starting spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the event will earn full starting spots for the 2026 LIV Golf League. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played over four rounds of stroke play. After Round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to Round 2, with scores reset. The same procedure follows after Round 2, when the top 20 again proceed to Rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 count cumulatively. A playoff occurs only if required to determine the winner or second and third places.
