The week kicks off in the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour at the Great Abaco Club on Winding Bay, where the first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic is underway. The round was interrupted at dusk, promising a long day of golf on Monday. The clubhouse lead stands at -5, while Ben Taylor holds a -6 after 15 holes.
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to the Emirates Golf Club. The Hero Dubai Desert Classic starts Thursday, featuring seven German-speaking players including Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul. International star power is also present with four-time winner Rory McIlroy as a favorite for the title.
On the PGA Tour, play begins Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California. Scottie Scheffler starts his 2026 golf season aiming to build on his stellar 2025. The world number one is still chasing a win at the American Express Championship. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka returns, along with German players Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. Two Germans, Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka, will compete against legends including Vijay Singh, who warmed up with a PGA Tour cut in Hawaii last week.
