The week kicks off in the Bahamas with the Korn Ferry Tour. The first round of the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic is underway at the Great Acaco Club on Winding Bay. After play was paused due to darkness, Monday promises a long day of golf. The clubhouse lead stands at -5, with Ben Taylor aiming to maintain his -6 lead after 15 holes.
The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to Emirates GC for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic starting Thursday. Seven German-speaking players, including Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul, are competing. International star power is also present, with four-time winner Rory McIlroy among the favorites.
The PGA Tour also begins Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, marking Scottie Scheffler’s 2026 season start. After a dream year in 2025, Scheffler aims to continue his success, with the American Express Championship title still missing from his résumé. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka returns, with German hopefuls Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid also in the field.
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday, featuring legends like Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka from Germany. Vijay Singh, fresh from making a cut at a PGA Tour event in Hawaii, also joins the competition.
