The DP World Tour remains in Dubai, moving to Emirates Golf Club for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic starting Thursday. The field includes seven German-speaking players: Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Freddy Schott, Bernd Wiesberger, and Jeremy Paul. International star power is strong as four-time champion Rory McIlroy is among the favorites.
The PGA Tour also begins Thursday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course in La Quinta, California, with Scottie Scheffler starting his 2026 season. After a stellar 2025, he aims to continue his success, with the American Express Championship title still elusive in his resume. Austrian defending champion Sepp Straka returns, joined by Germans Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid.
The PGA Tour Champions kicks off with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hualalai from Friday to Sunday. Legends Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka represent Germany, competing against notable players like Vijay Singh, who warmed up with a made cut on the PGA Tour in Hawaii last week.
