The first official tournaments must wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway as players aim to qualify. Golf on TV is live.
The 2026 LIV Golf Promotions Event sees players competing for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players in the tournament earn full starting places for the 2026 LIV Golf League. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) automatically qualify for the International Series 2026.
The event is played over four rounds of stroke play. After Round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to Round 2, with scores resetting. The same process applies after Round 2, with the top 20 moving on to Rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff will occur only if necessary to determine the winner or second and third places.
