The first official tournaments have to wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway with players aiming to qualify. Golf on TV is live.
At the LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026, players compete for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament is held from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the tournament will receive a full spot for the LIV Golf League 2026 season. Additionally, the top 10 (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played over four rounds in stroke play format. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. The same applies after round 2, after which the top 20 progress to rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff will only take place if needed to determine the winner or the second and third places.
