This week also marks the start of the new LIV Golf season. The kickoff event takes place in Riyadh, featuring several changes both in personnel and organization, most notably the extension to 72 holes, meaning four rounds over four tournament days. Sky Sports broadcasts all four days live, and viewers can also follow LIV Golf on DAZN.
In addition to LIV Golf, Sky Sports offers coverage of the R&A’s Africa Amateur Championship, a tournament not often available live. Held from February 4 to 7, 2026, at Royal Johannesburg Golf Club in South Africa, players compete on the prestigious East Course. The winner earns a spot in the 154th Open at Royal Birkdale and the 2026 Amateur Championship.
Magenta TV and the DP World Tour continue with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East, but the highlight of the week is in Phoenix. Traditionally coinciding with Super Bowl weekend, the PGA Tour hits TPC Scottsdale for the WM Phoenix Open, featuring the famous 16th hole as the round’s highlight.
