Golf on TV: LIV Golf kicks off in Riyadh & Party in Phoenix

In Phoenix, the biggest PGA Tour party occurs during Super Bowl weekend, while LIV Golf kicks off its new season in Riyadh. Live golf action on TV is ready to roll.

This week also marks the start of the LIV Golf 2026 season. The opening event takes place in Riyadh with several changes both in personnel and organization, most notably the extension to 72 holes — four rounds over four days. Sky Sports broadcasts all four days live, and coverage is also available on DAZN.

Alongside LIV Golf, Sky Sports also features a seldom live-covered event: the R&A’s Africa Amateur Championship, held from February 4 to 7, 2026, at Royal Johannesburg Golf Club in South Africa. Competitors play on the renowned East Course, and the winner earns a spot at the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale and the 2026 Amateur Championship.

MagentaTV continues coverage of the DP World Tour with the Qatar Masters in the Middle East. However, the biggest celebration this week is in Phoenix, where the PGA Tour hosts the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale during Super Bowl weekend, with the famous 16th hole as the highlight of the round.
