Golf on TV: World-Class Start in Dubai, PGA Season Kickoff in Hawaii

Shining in Dubai and kicking off in Hawaii: The DP World Tour begins the International Swing, and the PGA Tour starts the year without its usual opener. Live golf on TV.

The International Swing of the DP World Tour kicks off with the Dubai Invitational at the Dubai Creek Resort. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood faces a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. Played in a Pro-Am format (60 pros, 60 amateurs), the tournament will see only professionals competing for the title from Sunday. Representing Germany, Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem usher in the new season.

On the PGA Tour, the 2026 season starts unusually: Due to ongoing drought, The Sentry in Kapalua was cancelled. Instead, the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new season, with $9.1 million prize money and the first FedExCup points on the line. Defending champion Nick Taylor is competing alongside former winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. German hope Matti Schmid also participates.
