The Dubai Invitational starts the International Swing of the DP World Tour at the Dubai Creek Resort. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood faces a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. The event is played in a Pro-Am format with 60 professionals and 60 amateurs, before only the pros compete for the title on Sunday. Under the German flag, Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem kick off the new season.
The PGA Tour season 2026 starts unusually: due to ongoing drought, The Sentry in Kapalua was canceled. Instead, the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new campaign. The prize purse is $9.1 million and the first FedExCup points of the season are awarded. Defending champion Nick Taylor competes along with past winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. German colors are represented by Matti Schmid.
