Shine in Dubai, beginning in Hawaii: The DP World Tour kicks off the International Swing, PGA Tour starts the year without its usual opening event. Live golf on TV.
The Dubai Invitational marks the start of the DP World Tour’s International Swing at Dubai Creek Resort. Defending champion Tommy Fleetwood faces a star-studded field including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, and Masters champions like Patrick Reed. The tournament is played in a pro-am format with 60 pros and 60 amateurs, before only the pros compete for the title on Sunday. Under the German flag, Nicolai von Dellingshausen and Marcel Siem start the new season.
The PGA Tour begins the 2026 season unusually: Due to ongoing drought, The Sentry in Kapalua was cancelled. Instead, the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu opens the new season. Players compete for $9.1 million and the first FedExCup points of the year. Defending champion Nick Taylor returns alongside past winners and Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. Representing Germany is Matti Schmid.
