The PGA Tour kicks off this week at the Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California’s \”Golden State,\” hosted by Tiger Woods at the Riviera Country Club. Although only Matti Schmid represents the German-speaking region, the tournament features a high-caliber field of prominent names competing for important points on the world ranking. The prize purse totals $20,000,000. Defending champion Ludvig Åberg and world number one Scottie Scheffler will both compete. Other top players include Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, and many more, completing the elite lineup. On the DP World Tour, action moves to Nairobi, Kenya, for the Magical Kenya Open.
