The PGA Tour kicks off this week with the Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California at the Riviera Country Club, hosted by Tiger Woods. Despite only Matti Schmid representing the German-speaking region, the tournament boasts a high-profile field of prominent names competing for crucial points on the Official World Golf Ranking. The total prize fund is $20,000,000. Alongside defending champion Ludvig Åberg, the current world number one Scottie Scheffler will also compete. Other top players include Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, and many more completing the elite lineup. The DP World Tour heads to Kenya for the Magical Kenya Open in the capital Nairobi.
