The PGA Tour kicks off this week with the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, \”Golden State\”, hosted by Tiger Woods. Although only Matti Schmid from the German-speaking region will showcase his skills, the tournament boasts a high-caliber field of prominent names competing for crucial world ranking points. A total prize purse of $20,000,000 adds to the stakes. Defending champion Ludvig Åberg and world number one Scottie Scheffler will be in the field. Other top players include Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, among others, completing the elite lineup. MagentaTV broadcasts all four days live.
The DP World Tour moves to Kenya for the Magical Kenya Open in Nairobi. There are more German-speaking players on the entry list this time.
