The first official tournaments await next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event for player qualification is live on TV.
The LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026 sees players compete for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The event takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the tournament earn full spots in the 2026 LIV Golf League. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played over four rounds of stroke play. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. The same applies after round 2, where again the top 20 advance to rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff is held only if needed to determine the winner or the second and third positions.
