The first official tournaments are next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event lets players qualify live on TV.Players compete for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season at the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions Event from January 8 to 11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players earn full spots for the 2026 LIV Golf League, while the top 10 (including ties) qualify automatically for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played over four rounds of stroke play. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. This process repeats after round 2, with the top 20 moving on to rounds 3 and 4, where cumulative scoring applies. Playoffs only occur if needed to determine the winner or the second and third placements.
