The first official tournaments are on hold until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway as players compete for qualification spots. Golf on TV is live.
The 2026 LIV Golf Promotions Event features players vying for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players will earn full starting positions for the 2026 LIV Golf League, while the top 10 (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The event is played over four rounds of stroke play. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. The same applies after round 2, with the top 20 proceeding to rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff will only take place if needed to determine the winner or the second and third places.
